Judiffier Pearson has woven her creative, entrepreneurial, and academic expertise into a career with a rich tapestry. For over 20 years, she has built successful businesses in an array of industries, including beauty, management consulting, publishing, film & entertainment, and multimedia training. A rare fusion of right-brain creative and left-brain business strategist, she has evolved into a highly sought after speaker, facilitator, consultant, and educator.
Pearson is a Lecturer at Georgia State University’s Creative Media Industries Institute (CMII), teaching courses in Media Entrepreneurship. Prior to her appointment at CMII, she worked in the College of Business at Clayton State University for nine years as a Film & Entertainment Business Consultant (SBDC) and as a Lecturer of Management.
Through her company, Quest5 Consulting, she provides strategic planning, leadership development, and management consulting for organizations in film, television, music, and digital media markets. Her signature supplier development program helps small businesses become camera-ready vendors. This training readies suppliers for doing business with production companies, which helps to optimize the state film tax credit.
Pearson currently serves on the Boards of Georgia Music Partnership and InvestAtlanta’s Creative Industries Grant Fund. She also serves as a consultant on the Film Supplier Taskforce, comprised of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, Tyler Perry Studios, and InvestAtlanta.
Since 2018, Pearson has traveled frequently to Africa to teach and mentor small business owners, as well as to research the socio-economic impact of heritage tourism. She is currently producing her first film, a documentary about reconciliation between Africa and its transatlantic Diaspora.
Pearson earned her MBA in Leadership and Organization Management from Georgia State University and her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Global Policy from The University of Georgia.
